If you are pregnant and do not want to have a baby, you can end the pregnancy with an abortion.
Before you can get an abortion, you have to attend a counselling session. The abortion takes place a few days later.
If you decide to continue the pregnancy, you still have 2 options:
- To keep the baby;
- To give the baby up for adoption. Beware of untrustworthy organisations. Consult official adoption agencies only.
In some countries women can give birth to their baby at the hospital without having to give their name or without the hospital having to make the mother’s name known. After giving birth, the mother leaves the hospital. The baby is put up for adoption after a certain time.
