Vaccinations
Many children get infectious diseases during their first few years of life. Some may be very dangerous, for example measles, diphtheria, tetanus, polio or HPV. Therefore, babies and children are vaccinated for these infectious diseases. To do this, the doctor uses a vaccine. The vaccine prevents the infection. The first vaccinations are given during the early detection examination. They are paid for by the health insurance company. Parents can decide whether they want their child to be vaccinated.
